Hong Kong on the Water
The ideal time for major sailing events in Hong Kong is November. During this month, the North-East Monsoon brings moderate to fresh breezes, clear skies, and comfortable temperatures ranging from 18 to 25 degrees Celsius.

Host Venues
The Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club (RHKYC)
The Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club is among the oldest and most respected clubs in the region, with roots in Hong Kong yacht racing going back to 1849 and a rich history in social and competitive sailing and rowing. With extensive expertise in managing boat containers, the RHKYC will oversee the delivery and measurement of all boats.
Boats will be hosted at the marina of the Host Partner, the Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club.

Boats will dock at The Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club marina, which offers 300 berths, dining facilities, changing rooms, and a spacious open-air area suitable for major sporting events.
The Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club offers a peaceful escape with world-class golfing, sailing, and a range of sports and recreational facilities. Set amid scenic hills, distant islands, and the South China Sea, the golf course, praised by Olympic Gold Medallist Justin Rose as “The Pebble Beach of Asia”, features the renowned “Highland Nine” and “Ocean Nine”, with its signature third hole recognised among the “500 Best Holes in the World”.
Open Water off the Ninepins
The racecourse, which extends up to 8 nautical miles, is situated in the South China Sea near the Ninepins Islands, the venue of the 2015 Etchells World Championship.
Repair, sail, and lifting services will be available, with post-race transport by ferry or bus to the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club (RHKYC).
